Gently warm in sauce pan:
1 cube margarine
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup milk
When ingredients are melted bring to full boil and boil for 40 seconds, then remove from heat.
Stir in:
3 cups Oats
½ cup peanut butter
1 Tbsp vanilla
Spoon onto aluminum foil and let sit until hardened.
(Recipe that Dad always used from the Star Valley Cook Book -- David calls them "Grandma's House Super Secret Sugar Cookies)
1⁄2 C butter or margarine
1 egg
1⁄2 C milk
1 tsp soda
1 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/4 C flour
1⁄2 tsp salt
Combine butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Mix
well. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add to egg mixture and stir until well
mixed. Roll out 1/4 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes.

Place on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 375° (Steph likes 350° better) for 10 minutes until done but not browned. Makes: 2 1⁄2-3 dozen cookies.
